Okay, not really. Not yet, anyway! Apparently I wasn’t using as good of form as I thought during that kettlebell class on Thursday. Saturday morning I bent over and felt my back pull. I’ve been walking around bent over like an old woman ever since. I even worked from home today.
This is not helping my training schedule. I haven’t been able to do anything since Thursday.
In the meantime, here’s some of the food I’ve been eating in the past few days.
I found this Yoplait Greek yogurt and since I’d never seen it before, I decided to try it. I actually didn’t think it tasted that different than regular yogurt so it was a little disappointing.
I mixed it with strawberries and Multigrain Cheerios.
Some whole wheat toast with yogurt spread and cranberry apple butter.
Crockpot roast that the HUSBAND made with half a baked potato and a couple of biscuits.
Here’s a creation I’m very proud of. An omelet with two eggs and an additional two egg whites. Inside was a bunch of chopped baby spinach and cheese. The bacon is Gwaltney’s 40% less fat.
Kim and Keenan brought me some gifts from their recent trips.
Moonshine Jelly! I’m excited to try this soon!
This wine looks fantastic. Judging by the label, that is!
Other than the back issues (and the Super Bowl) it was a pretty uneventful weekend. It snowed a little again on Saturday so I spent most of the day inside. Sunday morning was spent at church and then I napped ALL afternoon until time to leave for a friend’s Super Bowl party.
He catered it with Moe’s so I had one soft taco and one regular taco. I also had a bunch of pepperoni and cheese and 2 3 Saints cupcakes. Hey, I had to represent! Go Saints!
Also consumed were multiple drinks consisting of pomegranate mixer, tonic water, and vodka. I managed to take it to that point of perfect drunkness. Hard place to find.
Now, I’m off to take some Ibuprofen and hit the hay! Have a great night!

Take care of yourself. I hope you’re starting to feel better…. I know how frustrating it is to be off schedule.
